Transit stations are focal points in a community, a connection point and a source of energy. In this regard, a transit station can serve as more than a transportation corridor – it can create an enjoyable and memorable experience by offering diverse activities. Activating the existing light rail station with swings can provide much-needed community gathering space for the neighborhood. The proposed elements are easy to move and can be repurposed for other events.
