Mount Baker already has a rich network of restaurants and personal gardens which lend the neighborhood its character and allow community members to express their diverse cultural backgrounds. This vision of Mount Baker as a productive foodscape unfolds over the next 8 years – empowering growers, distributors, and consumers through the common thread of food. A series of potential intervention sites are developed, as well as a set of typologies for urban farms that can be integrated into Mount Baker’s near future.
