Mosaic Market

A public market for local producers is an expression of community-oriented design – it works to ensure development efforts benefit current residents, builds using local knowledge, skills and culture, fosters pathways for local ownership, and multiplies available resources. This project sees local commerce as the transaction of goods, services, and cooperative relationships in a time when development can mean economic growth for some and economic uncertainty for others. In times of stress, the Mosaic Market is a weekly and monthly event space; in times of shock, it can act as a disaster relief supply area.
