Situated in front of the Mt. Baker Link station, an open plaza filled with movement, Pause | Play provides a moment of pause – a stopping place for commuters who pass through the neighborhood. It is also a setting that can begin a conversation to engage and connect people to the community from within and beyond. With a simple construction process and giving a lighter touch, wood would be the desired material for the proposed design.
